Heat & Cold Resistant
About the Application

A secure bond from the freezer to a hot warehouse.

Heat and cold resistant packaging covers conditions where temperature runs to the extremes: frozen food, cold chain goods and packs stored in hot environments. A standard adhesive either turns brittle in these conditions or softens and releases the bond.

The adhesive must stay flexible at low temperatures, must not flow at high ones, and has to hold its bond as the temperature swings between them. Powermelt® polyolefin and specially formulated EVA hot melts deliver balanced performance across a wide temperature range.

B.E.S. Kimya produces heat and cold resistant packaging adhesives that work from cold storage through to hot climate conditions.
