Heat and moisture resistance on curved worktop edges.
In postforming, worktop and panel edges are heated and bent, and the laminate is stretched over the curve. The laminate stays under tension along that bend, so the ability of the adhesive to hold it decides the quality of the edge.
The adhesive must not soften under heat, must not let the laminate spring back along the curve, and has to resist heat and moisture at the worktop edge for years. Güçlü® solvent-based synthetic rubber adhesives are preferred in postforming for their high initial grab and heat resistance.
