Flat Lamination

Smooth lamination across large surfaces.

Flat lamination covers the broad faces of panels such as MDF, chipboard and plywood with decor paper, foil, CPL laminate or natural veneer. Because the area is large, the adhesive must spread evenly across the surface and leave no blisters after pressing.

The adhesive has to hold the facing material in full contact with the surface, leave no lifting at the edges and not lengthen press times. Aquasive® water-based dispersions give a smooth surface at low film thickness, while Powermelt® hot melts keep high-speed lines productive.
