A safe bond between elastics and nonwovens.
Diaper and hygiene product manufacture joins nonwoven layers, the absorbent core, elastic strands and closure tapes at high speed. Because the product sits against the skin, those joints have to stay soft.
The adhesive has to form a thin, flexible film, resist the retraction force of the elastic strands and never stiffen the product. Powermelt® construction and elastic hot melts meet the speed and flexibility that hygiene lines demand.
