Clean, fast application in side gluing.
Side binding bonds the signatures along the side face as well as the spine, for bindings that have to take more. It is the method of choice for textbooks and heavily used publications.
The adhesive has to lay a thin, even film on the side face, raise page pull strength and still let the book open properly. Powermelt® hot melts deliver high page pull values.
B.E.S. Kimya offers adhesives with the viscosity and open time that side binding needs for a durable joint.
