Flawless wrapping on MDF and wooden profiles.
Profile wrapping is a key production application in the wood and furniture industry, in which MDF, particleboard, wood, plastic, aluminum and metal profiles are covered with decorative materials. Decor papers, PVC and thermoplastic foils, CPL laminates, natural veneers and various surface materials are widely used in profile wrapping operations.
Rising production speeds, varied surface combinations and the expectation of a flawless finish require profile wrapping adhesives to offer strong initial grab, balanced open time and high surface compatibility. It is essential that the adhesive runs stably on the production line, fixes the covering material uniformly and provides long-term durability.
Powermelt® profile wrapping adhesives offer solutions for different production conditions with EVA, polyolefin and PUR hot melt technologies. EVA- and PO-based hot melt adhesives provide fast application and high production efficiency, while PUR hot melt adhesives excel in applications requiring high temperature, moisture, water and chemical resistance.
With profile wrapping adhesives developed for different profile materials, covering types and machine speeds, B.E.S. Kimya combines strong adhesion, a clean surface appearance and reliable production performance.
