Leak-tight bonding for fine filtration.
HEPA filters are high-efficiency filters expected to capture very fine particles. At this efficiency class even the smallest leak downgrades the filter, so the joints have to be completely sealed.
The adhesive must form a void-free seal, must not shrink once cured and must not damage the filter medium. Powermelt® reactive PUR adhesives are preferred in HEPA applications for their high-strength, dimensionally stable joints.
B.E.S. Kimya produces reactive PUR adhesives for the sealed joints required in HEPA and high-efficiency filter production.
