A flexible, secure bond in cabin filters.
Pollen filters capture pollen, dust and particles from vehicle cabin air. In designs that include an activated carbon layer, several different materials have to be bonded together.
The adhesive has to join the nonwoven and carbon layers without impairing air permeability, and withstand the temperature swings inside a vehicle. Applied as a thin film, Powermelt® hot melts fix the layers together without closing off the filter surface.
B.E.S. Kimya supplies adhesives suited to bonding the multi-layer structures used in cabin and pollen filter production.
