Straight Edge Banding
About the Application

A fine glue line and strong hold on flat panels.

Edge banding is a key application in furniture production, directly affecting the aesthetics, durability and service life of wood-based panels. Achieving strong adhesion, a clean surface and a thin glue line with PVC, ABS, melamine, veneer and solid wood edge bands requires using the right adhesive.

Powermelt® edge banding adhesives offer high-performance solutions for different production speeds, machine systems and edge band types. EVA- and polyolefin-based hot melt adhesives deliver fast grab and efficient production, while PUR hot melt adhesives stand out with their high heat, moisture, water and chemical resistance.

Particularly in kitchens, bathrooms and furniture exposed to heavy use, PUR edge banding adhesives form a long-lasting, strong bond. B.E.S. Kimya provides reliable edge banding solutions with granule, cartridge and various packaging options to suit different application needs.
