Surface protection guards marble and natural stone slabs against scratching and staining during processing, transport and storage. A protective film or paper is bonded temporarily to the face of the slab.
The adhesive has to hold the film securely, leave no residue on the stone when it is removed and not penetrate the porous surface. Aquasive® water-based dispersions give controlled adhesion, while Güçlü® solvent-based products are used in harder conditions.
