Safe bonding in wet wipe packaging.
Wet wipe production folds the nonwoven web, packs it and joins the lid to the pack. Because the product itself is wet, those pack joints are under constant moisture.
The adhesive has to hold its bond in a damp environment, keep the pack closed and be safe in contact with the product. Powermelt® hot melts form joints that set quickly and stay stable against moisture.
B.E.S. Kimya produces moisture-resistant hot melt adhesives for the lid and closure joints of wet wipe packs.
