High strength in backing-mesh bonding.
Mesh backing bonds fibreglass mesh to the reverse of marble and natural stone slabs, reinforcing them against breakage in handling and processing. On thinly cut slabs that layer becomes structural.
The adhesive has to bond the mesh fully to the porous stone, stay attached through cutting and not discolour the slab. Aquasive® dispersion products and Güçlü® solvent-based resins form a strong bond between mesh and stone.
B.E.S. Kimya produces solutions for mesh reinforcement of marble and natural stone slabs, combining high adhesion with colour stability.
